PRIVACY & KINDNESS

Your story.
Your choice.

Plain words about what we keep, where it stays, and what you control.

Our promise

  • Only your nickname is ever shown. Never your real name or email.
  • No ads, no analytics, no tracking cookies.
  • You can see and delete what’s saved, any time, in Privacy settings.
  • We never sell or share your information.

What this preview saves

This is an early preview. Nothing you type is sent to our servers. Everything below is saved only in this browser, on this device:

  • Your nickname if you create a preview account. No email or password is saved.
  • Posts and replies you share, so you can see them in My posts.
  • Circles you join, and your answer to the teen or adult age question.
  • Posts and recipes you save.
  • Recipes and updates you share with us, including any food photo or link you add.
  • Your Pattern notebook and toilet training tracker.
  • All about us pages, and your What I’ve noticed checklist.
  • Small preferences, like whether you chose “parent” or “autistic”, and the pages you visited in this tab so Back works.

Anyone using this browser on this device could see these. On a shared computer, delete them in Privacy settings when you’re done. Clearing your browser data also removes them.

What leaves your device, only if you choose

  • Send by email: opens your own email app with the details filled in. You choose whether to send it, and we see your email address.
  • Print, download or share: creates a copy you control, like a PDF for your doctor or a link to a recipe.
  • Links to other websites open in a new tab and follow that website’s own privacy rules.

Children and teens

Please never share your child’s real name, school, address, photo or anything that could identify them. Recipe photos should show food only. Teen circles are only for autistic teens aged 13 to 17 and are kept separate from adults.

When the community opens

Before real accounts and public conversations begin, we will update this page. It will explain where information is stored (we plan to keep it in Canada), how posts are moderated (moderators can read posts and reports to keep everyone safe), how to report something, how long things are kept, and how to delete your account. We won’t change how your information is used without telling you first.

Share without identifying details

Leave out real names, schools, addresses, phone numbers, and anything that could identify you or someone else. Nicknames help, but no website can promise complete anonymity, so share only what feels comfortable.

Make space for different experiences

Be kind. Listen before offering advice. Don’t diagnose other people, pressure someone to share, or post someone else’s story without their permission. Add a content note before discussing distressing experiences.

Know what this space can offer

Peer support and general information are not medical advice or an emergency service. If someone is in danger, call 911. If you feel you can’t cope, call or text 9-8-8.
